The Windhoek Auas Mountain Zip Line is a cable adventure option in the Auas Mountains close to Windhoek. Similar to a "flying fox". The Windhoek Zip Line just like all zip lines consists of a pulley suspended on a cable, mounted on an incline and is approx. 560 meters long. One can slide along with nearly 60 km/h and is on the highest point more than 130 meters above the ground.

Paintball is also in Namibia a growing sport activity. Different fields exist in and around Windhoek. Prices start from as little as N$ 60 per person including all equipment and 100 bullets.

Hotel Tip
Feel like a German King
Heinitzburg (originally Heynitzburg, German for "Heinitz' castle") is one of the three castles in Windhoek. It was built in 1914 by architect Wilhelm Sander. It is today used as an outstanding hotel with one of the best restaurants in Namibia. The hotel is a member of the Relais & Chateaux group.
