Windhoek is home to many umbrella sport organisations and Sport Clubs for all kind of sports and entertainment. Most of the clubs are also home to popular - and cheap - bars for an evening drink. It is the easiest to consult the umbrella federation or association of any sport you are interested in regarding the best club in your suburb in Windhoek or for your needs.

(c) Heinitzburg Heinitzburg (originally Heynitzburg, German for "Heinitz' castle") is one of the three castles in Windhoek. It was built in 1914 by architect Wilhelm Sander. It is today used as an outstanding hotel with one of the best restaurants in Namibia. The hotel is a member of the Relais & Chateaux group.
